Ron's Story
My son is now a senior in college, although he has switched majors and needs to go back a bit longer.
Here is the real irony. Four years ago, my local CAPlus rep Paul Celuch suggested that my son major in communications. Paul had two reasons: he himself was a former VP at Rochester Telephone and noticed my son's personality and strength. Paul also felt that a lot of graduates need more experience in that particular field. My son chose business but has since realized the error of his ways and switched back to business interpersonal communications. The point is, Paul saw this without hesitation.
My son also received money from various schools and, looking back, I see that the options were plentiful because of Paul's work with our family. One thing that I can tell you that Paul did well was remind us that the most prestigious school does not always offer the most money. Many up-and-coming schools offer more money and are very good schools.
I highly recommend CAPlus to any college-bound student who is completely confused as to which direction to take, especially now, when money is tight and times are tough.
