Greg and Vicki's Story

My wife and I can't say enough about CAPlus. We started our college journey with the oldest of our four children in 2002, and it was OVERWHELMING. After attending a CAPlus workshop (where we learned TONS), we signed on and haven't had a single regret. CAPlus helped us match the schools to our students, helped us with letters for more scholarships (not loans), helped us with the FAFSA and TAP forms, and much more.

We as a family were not prepared for the exorbitant cost of college! If younger parents have newborns, start saving for college NOW.

We have had great college experiences so far. Our oldest son started at a community college, then transferred to Utah State for his bachelor's degree, and has been working since graduation. Our oldest daughter went to a private college with a nice scholarship and work-study program. She received her bachelor's degree last May and just got a job offer in occupational therapy for $58,000 PLUS a signing bonus to use on college loans. She then graduated in May with her Master's. Our younger son is commuting to a state school for an AAS in construction this May. We are currently working closely with CAPlus on our youngest daughter. She is a high school senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology, possibly with the intention of getting a master's degree to be a teacher or physician assistant.
