Gerry Rothstein has almost 30 years experience owning her own business, servicing her clientele with income tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll services, FAFSA analysis and preparation, and education consultation. She is a certified College Financial Aid Counselor and has studied with the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators. Her wealth of knowledge in all of these areas is immense. As a business owner she has always felt that she should treat the client the way she herself would like to be treated by giving the best service for a fair price. This firm conviction resulted in her business consistently posting an annual double digit increase in number of clients served. She is committed to her clients. Gerry holds a BA degree. She has 2 wonderful daughters (one in college with the goal of becoming a teacher and the other in high school with exceptional athletic abilities as a basketball player.)
Martha Abbott was born, raised and still resides in upstate New York. She is multi talented with extensive business experience in the publishing industry, supplemented by her entrepreneurial expertise in manufacturing exquisite all-occasion pastry, in addition to her education consultation. She is a gentle and informed guide to the student, encouraging and supporting them along the application, college and major selection process, as well as assisting the parent through the maze of decision-making and financial statement analysis for the FAFSA. She also brings to the table her own parenting experience. She is the mother of five children, which provides her with the personal understanding of being a parent of five different college experiences.
Michael Rothstein. His own educational background of high learning experience ranged from community college to a SUNY state school, culminating by graduating cum laude with a B.S. degree from a private institution, Elmira College. He has over 30 years experience in the business management arena. His financial expertise brings great abilities, judgment and insight to the CAPlus college negotiating team, rounding out the Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse CAPlus team.
